I have a Lenovo Z40 Core i7 8 GB Ram, with Windows 7 Professional SP1 and TIA Portal V12 SP1 Updt 5 and v13 SP1 Upd 5 (now Upd 8).
My problem is that I am connected to a S7-1200 AC/DC/RLY FW 4.0 with V13. I am able to make changes on it, I go online and offline as I wanted, download and upload without any problem via wired LAN or Wirelessly. But I´m tring to add a Profinet device, Festo cmmp-as-m3 Servo Motor drive, but I can´t find it on Online Access, I also realized that I can´t even see the PLC I´m working on!

I tried to do this on both adaptors, Realtek PCIe GBE and Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 but no one worked.
I did some things like ping on both devices (both responding), change from WiFi to wired LAN, create new project and try to find new components, but nothing happened. I still can´t see the motor drive or even my PLC.

I went to the Project Tree, PLC_1, Online & Diagnostics and in the section PROFINET interface [X1] - Ports, on details I can see this:

MAC address of the interface:  28-63-36-8B-FD-B8     (My PLC)
Medium:  Copper

Neighbor:  democa00.Port 1    (Other PC that actually see both devices in online access)
MAC address of the interface:  A4-BA-DB-DA-C6-4F

Neighbor:  cmmp-as-m3.Port 1    (The Festo drive I want to connect to)
MAC address of the interface:  00-0E-F0-1D-21-60

I used to have Window 8.1 installed on this machine and never had problems to connecto to profinet devices. Win 7 was installed a couple weeks ago.
I also use Kaspersky Antivirus, that is the main reason to downgrade to win 7 because Kasper and Win 8.1 makes a dangerous couple.

I was reading some of your advices, I downloaded the latest driver for Realtek and nothing happended.
I have a N-Tron 105TX-SL ethernet switch to connect the PLC to the Motor Driver and my office LAN. I´m connected by WiFi and wire to the same switch. Other test I did is to connect directly my lap to the Driver and did not see it.

I also have another laptop, is a Dell Core i5 running on Win 7 (the one mentioned above) and this machin can see the PLC and the Drive without any problems.

Do you think uninstall TIA and reinstal it could work? I installed Updt 8 before I posted this but did not work.
What do you suggest?

Try to disable Virusscanner and firewall.

They could block the search for MAC Address.

if you have problems with PN components you can also check if PROFINET IO RT protocol is installed and enabled.

Solved!

I followed your suggestions but nothing happened, I reviewed if Profinet Protocol was enabled on both adapters and they were enabled, I disabled Windows defender and nothing happened, I uninstalled Kaspersky and disabled Windows Firewall and TIA portal can see all my devices! Yeah!

Then I re installed Kaspersky and I still can see my devices. I turned on Windows Firewall and still can see all my devices!

What happened here?

What I thing is, probably, Kaspersky was the main problem. But, once uninstalled and reinstalled, Kaspersky “Saw” there are Siemens connections and allowed them to work.

I have to spend 10 hours to solve same problem that happend to me.

However it am very glad to  to share my experience here altough i believe the source of problem for this not only one.

After trying so many advices, finnaly I turned my focus on  symantec end point protection, i found the data send via utp to S7 1200 CPU was bloked by symantec firewall. I just disabled it and finnaly i could connect my laptop to CPU.
