Split from Can ping to HMI but can't connect.

Hi,

change the type of PG/PC-interface to Ethernet and try again. I guess you have to set the panel to transfer mode, if that one is not set to auto for downloading.

only through the router I have problems in direct cable connection works.......through the router I can also see the plc in the network I can open the program online. only the panels are not detectable.....with another laptop it works without problems.on the laptop which doesn't work, I reinstalled windows and all siemens software...I still have connection problem only with HMI...maybe it's something with network adapters but what...

Why do you use router here?

Is there any optical fiber connect b/w HMI and PG?

Is HMI in other subnet or its just for PG  wifi connection to the network?

If HMI in another network, please add router ip in the device configuration of HMI as per the attachment.

If HMI in same network, then change HMI address from 0.0.0.0 to new address in Transfer settings of HMI Control panel.Make Auto mode in Transfer settings.Ensure Ethernet cable connected to correct HMI port. 2Ports got 2 different ip address.Also select appropriate network driver in PG/PC setting of your laptop.

did you found solution for the problem , I have the same problem but I cant solve it with the suggestion solution from others 

If you have set the IP on panel.

Change show all compatible devices to show devices with the same addresses.
