Hi guys,

I've a problem using MBMA341...My communication seems to be good (Test with modscan32) but can't find my value in the S7ADDR (Pointer)... 

When i have a look on the Send/REceive buffer of the MBMA341 Instance DB i can see that, the Request is correct, and I can find my value in the received buffer... but it's is not tranfered to the associate DB... Why?

When i have a look at the DONE and ERROR (MBMAREQ instance) they are always "0". But the Status is switching between "16#00" and "16#e50" which meens, accordingly to the manual, "Received Slave Adress not correct"

Does anybody know why?

Modscan32 has an option to monitor the traffic (send/receive).

Can you post us a Screenshot of that traffic window.

Thanks for your quick response!

I've found my mistake.... the protocol was set to "Modbus Master" and not "ASCII" in the CP341 parameters... :-$

But i 've a second problem.... I can now communicate via Modbus (Thanks to your FB :-) ), but only when my CP341 is juste before the CPU.

But when i try the same things behind an ET200M (IM153-4), it just don't do anything! (TX and RX led turn off)

 In the Hardware config , the module seems to be OK, but there's no communication at all...

Do you have an idea?

I probably found the problem...

I've used the FB7 and FB8 from your example project MBMA340... which are in 2.2 version.... the ET200M seems to need a V3.0 or higher...

I'll try this tomorrow morning and tell you what happen with the new blocks.

(For info the last version is V3.2)

The standard fb's should be version 3.0 or greater. 

Unfortunately I don't know if my block will run with these versions. 

Just give it a try.

Unfortunetly it doesn't work with the new block... :(

The MBMA341 's Instance DB  change due to the new version of the FB7 and FB8 (multi instance in MBMA341)

Do you think an adaptation is possible? Do you have the last version of FB7 and FB8 (V3.2) or do you want i send you the new block?

Or is that possible to have the source code to adapt it myself? and then share it again?

PS: And now with the new block, TXD led flash with the new instance DB but no response from the slave.... and when i use the old DB with the new block, both TX and RX flash, but i can see in the receive buffer that the slave respond an exception error x02 (invalid register if i remember correctly)

Here is a backup of your MBMA341 Library, Where i have add the new FB7 and FB8, new and old instance DB...

PS: I think, that you just have to recompile your source with the new FB7 and FB8, and everythings must be OK... :) Thanks
