Can't power on the PLC anymore

Hi experts, my problem is related to an IPC 427D, after upgrade from CPU 1507SF V2.1 to V20.8 I cant power on the PLC anymore, originally I was working with windows embedded 7 32bit (my original bundle with WinAC RTX F 2010, later upgraded to CPU 1507S F V2.1 all fine), then I tried doing a clean installation on windows 7 ultimate 64bit, but with the same result, trying to switch on PLC from its panel shows restart PC or terminate CPU, none of the options can fix the problem

Did you load the display firmware with the latest compatible firmware for the CPU/PLC?

Do you mean the Bios firmware version of the IPC? Yes I've updated to V17.02.17

Regarding the CPU version, I followed the installation procedure according to the CPU 1507S F V20.8 manual, uninstall previous versions of the CPU 1507S F V2.x, reboot and install V20.8, like a brand new installation, there is no other additional software, just the SIMATIC_CPU_1507SF_V20_8.exe file

Where did you install the SW Controller? Could you show me "Disk management" screen?

Finally I managed to make it work, there is a BIOS setting that is not mentioned in the manual, under Power ---> advanced CPU control ---> use XD capability have to be Enabled, if not you cant switch on the CPU through its visual interface or even download the project with a .psc file.

I hope this can be useful for someone else, due to this issue I have wasted almost a week to solve it
