Can't see profinet accessible nodes PCS7 V7.1, just see cpu's

Rogerb Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dearspecialists, I have a PCS7 V7.1 engineering station with2 ethernet cards. One card with only the ethernet protocol (plant bus) and one ethernetcard(terminal bus)with tcp/ip and the nessecary profinet protocols.(see attachment). After changing the pg/pc interface with the menu accessible nodes, i only see s7 cpu's.(see attachment). I also have a new M3 field-pg with Step 7 professional V5.5 SP1. With this field-pgI also seethe profinet devices. What doI wrong on the engineeringsstation?? Thanks for your help Attachment screenshots.pdf (78 Downloads)

Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hello Rogerb, I’m not too sure if a driver/protocol is missing in your PCS7 Installation that has to be included to show all Profinet Devices or if that view has been changed to show only programmable stations.But if you want to change IP Addresses or Names of those Devices you can do that anyway with “Edit Nodes”. I hope this helps – if not please be more detailed on what you are trying to do.

RogerE1 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi,Thanks for you reply. I want to use in a PCS7V7.1 environment, a IM153-4 in a AS. This AS has a CPU416-3dp V5.1 with a CP type 6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0. I think the first step is actually to see your profinetdevices with the menu "accassible nodes" With the PCS7 PC it is not possible to see profinet devices on our network. I only see CPU-devices. Otherwise, I have also a brand new standalone fieldPG. With this field PG it is possible to see the all accassible profinet devices. My question is if i do something wrong in PCS7V7.1 or is it not possible in this version?
