Can WinnCC communicate with S7200 through MPI?

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 12/7/2024 Posts: 12301 Rating: (2692)	Hello autodafos; To follow up Mario's post, this FAQ shows the different ways S7-200 can be linked with WinCC. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21915573 Note that for MPI connection (through a CP5611 for example) you would need Siemens' PC Access OPC server. For Modbus, you would need a 3rd-party Modbus channel for WinCC (from Almendinger.de) For Profibus-DP you will need a EM277. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
