Can you please send me Manual/FAQ of SIBUKO

well... I am afraid that the SIBUKO packages are not available... for years already. If you want to read more about SIBUKO packages you find anabstract from the catalogue IK PI 2002 with the last entry fro Triax I found.

If you want to read more about it you need to read the manual Triaxial networks. Sadly this in no longer available on the net... but if you find a olderSIMATIC NET documentation CD you will surely find it on it.

I am not sure what you want to do... but I think there are also alternatives to SIBUKO packages. How is your networking look like right now? Do you already use Triaxial networks there? If not, do you use a CP 1430 TF there? If so you may use ITP (Industrial Twisted Pair), the CP 1430 TF supports this media. ITP is signal compatible to RJ45 Ethernet at 10 MBit/s.

If you already use Triax networks you may connect them to a RJ45 network by the use of media converters of the SCALANCE X100 series. I think here for example about the use of the SCALANCE X101-1AUI.

Maybe these would be ways for your application.

hmmm... I guess the point added is the "red" one on the right side... because there you mention the SIBUKO packages.

I think you have the other components, SSV 104 and so on, already running and you want to add this additional Workstation, am I right so far?
In this case we have two possible solutions. The distance you talk about, about 10m, does not require the installation of an SIBUKO package at all, in this situation you may also use a standard AUI drop cable 727-1. AUI drop cable are available for distances of up to 50m even in constellations with SSV104, here you may reach up to 40 m from your Transceiver (SIBUKO) to the node. (Bye the way... you may not install a SIBUKO to a DTE interface at all... it requires a MAU interface which is already in use with your SSV104... but just to be said. )

Well, if the Workstation you use has a RJ45 plug only you have an alternative solution. Then you install a SCALANCE X101-1AUI, you connect the SCALANCE by the use of a short AUI drop cable 727-1 to the SSV 104 and then you use a standard RJ45 cable to connect the SCALANCE X101-1AUI to your Workstation.
