cannot comunicate and simulate using the WinCC RT simulator with the PLC S7 1214 C

Hello, I am facing a problem with the TIA PORTAL V15.1 update 4, PLC SIM V15.1 update 4 and WinCC Advanced V15.1 update 4. I cannot comunicate and simulate using the WinCC RT simulator with the PLC S7 1214 C (and PLCSIM). Nothing simulates... When I try a simple boolean line of code and try to simulate that in a KTP600 basic color for example (using a simple button and a light)... nothing simulates. I am sure that I am doing well the programming for this because in the TIA PORTAL V13 it works. Th same code and Hardware. Do you know if there exist a bug in this version of TIA PORTAL and why the HMI WinCC RT simulator doesn´t simulate? Hello hmmm. I would say the KTP600 is the Problem. It has only a FW Version V12. there is no newer one. Since V14 you can only connect a Panel simulation to PLC Sim V14 or newer if you use a Panel Image V13 or newer LINK You can do a simple test. Use a Basic Panels 2nd Gen. like a ktp700 or a Comfort Panel in your project an do the test again. This should work. You need a real PLC for testing in this case togehter with a ktp600 simulation or an older TIA and PL SIM Version Bye Murof |
