Dear Yu-wen Tang, I have another problem: I cannot connect PLC to the online mosquitto broker via internet connection. I try with cmd and MQTTLends, it works. I think I miss something in hardware (CP, CM modules...). I don't have any PLCs, so I use PLCSIM Advanced V2.0 to simulate PLC S7-1500. I wonder if it works with simulation PLC? Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you so much ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Dear minhkhanh, No, PLCSIM does not work for internet connection. You need a real PLC to do so. Best regards, Yu-wen |

Dear minhkhanh, No, you don't need any communication module. The integrated interface of the CPU is enough. MQTT works on top of the TCP/IP protocol, so you need first to be familiar with the TCP/IP and the communication mechanism of the PLC. This is very hard to tell here. To connect your PLC to internet, the below link might give you some hints: How to access S7-1200 by Internet? Best regards, Yu-wen |
