Hello, I am having trouble forcing S7 1200 tags.It seems that forcing is disabled for some reason that I couldn't find. (see screenshot). Your help please! BR |

Thanks a lot PLC_GURU, it worked for me. But why is it only possible to force Peripheral IO? (maybe because of the first releease?) |

Not quite true, you can force indivudual inputs and Outputs too. What you have to do though is to add ":P" to the I/O address which "declares it as a peripheral (e.g. Q0.0:P or I0.0:P). The reason for why you have to do this shall forever and day only be known to the same "genius" that decided NOT to have STL available in a 1200 The good news with the "I/O Watchtable" is though that you can "auto complete" it by entering one address andthen dragging it down (which helps with commissioning if you have a number of I's and Q's to force as it saves you from having to add :P to each and every one of them) I hope this helps |

Ciao,I have tested to force Output without :P and it functions too.I have T.I.A. Portal 10.5 SP1.See attachment Do you have the same version ? |
