I'd like to ask about modbus TCP IP in Wincc Pro V17 (TIA V17).

In Wincc 7, In modbus TCP IP driver I can choose CPU 984.

In Wincc Pro, I can't find it.

WinCC Professional has some differences with classic WinCC, as you can see the equivalent of the WinCC Modbus TCP/IP driver is Modicon Modbus TCP/IP in which you only have to parameterize the network settings as you can see in the attached image, unless it is a Siemens equipment that you can use a specific Driver for Siemens equipment depending on the S7-300/400/1200/1500 range:

What CPU/manufacturer are you trying to connect to? so I can help you to make the necessary parameterization.

We use Wincc V7.3 modbus TCPIP direct connect to the DSLC-2 by Woodward with CPU type 984 and now we want to change to Wincc V17 but can not find it.

I have a success comunicate modbus tcpip between wincc 17 and mslc-2 & dslc-2. Use modbus cpu type concept proworx instead 984. modbus address on wincc V7 3x...., on wincc V17 i change to 4x... it work ok.
