Cannot open Downloaded WinCC 6.2.2 Project

hasmas Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	After downloadingtheWinCC project from the ES and trying toload the project on the OS the following message appears: The user does not have the rights to perform this action! Please check the assignment of the current user of the user groups in Windows. We have tried to create another project on the same computer that we downloaded to and checked wether this can be opened and what rights the different users have in this project, and the user rights are the same on both the downloaded and the newly created test project. The difference is that the new test project can be opened whilst the downloaded one cannot be opened. The downloaded project works fine on the ES. On the computer we download to we have Windows XP SP3 installed Does anyone have a clue what can be wrong?

hasmas Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I am aware of that, therefore I reinstalled XP with SP2. Unfortunately, no change. The ES is logged in as Administrator, while the OS is logged in as Operator. If I log in as Operator on the ES, it won't start the project, and if I log in as Administrator on the OS it won'tstart the project. Can't figure out whats wrong. Help is appreciated.

Amno Advanced Member Joined: 10/22/2008 Last visit: 2/16/2021 Posts: 59 Rating: (8)	Hi Hasmas, did you use the following description to deinstall the SP3 of XP? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/31694896 Did you get a message that the download has finished? If not try it again and wait for this message. If you do not get this message you do not have enough rights for downloading the project. Because in the end of the downloading process the ES will open the project to change the computername in the wincc project. (This computername should be in you PCS7 project the name of your ES and will be change in the end of downloading to the name of the target OS.) Furthermore you can try to copy a file over network from your ES to your OS and try to open it. Perhaps you can login on both computers with Administrator Login and check if Administrator is on both computers in the user group "Simatic HMI". Amno
