Hello Horatio, To solve your problem you have to check the followings: 1. Your Installed version of Simatic Manager is compatible with your OS. Here's The compitablity list. 2. Check that you have installed the driver of the adaptor. And please check that the driver software version is the same with the PC adapter version. It's important. Regards, |

Thanks Ayman Elotaify, My OS is XP SP2, STEP7 V5.4 SP4, PC-USB adapter 1.2. Thus, there is no problem with compatility... However, I've solved the problem with following steps (I'm just try according to my thinking, then it really works , anyone who have the same problem could try as bellows): - Uninstall PC-USB driver - Disable COMport under Divice Manager - Install firmware in PC-USB adapter folder - Install PC-USB adapter - Restart system. |
