Hello, what error/Ret_Val value you get with the SFC? Is the LADDR correct? The transferarea between Controller and I-Device? Here https://www.automation.siemens.com/mdm/default.aspx?DocVersionId=63972520715&Language=de-DE&TopicId=62572430859 you find an example with PROFIBUS (but it is similar to PROFINET) |

Hello, that right. You do not need any blocks, because you configure a transfer area between Controller and Device you have access (process image). If you do not or cannot place the data in a process image, then you should use the system functions SFC14 and SFC15 for data communications. FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/21848242 And example for I-Device you find in the link, you posted https://www.automation.siemens.com/mdm/default.aspx?DocVersionId=22512940939&Language=en-US&TopicId=22162162699 |
