Cant go online after firmware update. Incompatible error.

I used the in built web server of my S7-1200 to update the firmware using the latest firmware from the siemens website. I now cannot go online. In the device information panel in Diagnostics it says "Not Compatible".

I have tried selecting the PLC manually from the list of CPUs when setting up the file and also detecting the hardware but still get this message. The PLC was going online fine before the firmware update. I have also updated my TIA portal software to Version 13 SP1 Update 9. My PLC is CPU 1214C AC/DC/RLY FW Version V04.01.03_00.00.00.00 according to the automation tool.

Anyone know what I can do next to get my PLC back online?

which FW was on the PLC before the Update?
If you had V4.0 you must also change the PLC Version in the TIA Project.
Open the device view and right Click on PLC -> Change Device/Version -> update the project PLC to V4.1

I wanted to do that but couldnt inside TIA Portal as I needed to be able to connect to the PLC in the first place.

I have just been able to reset to factory defaults using the Automation Tool and it is working correctly now thankyou.
