Cant install cards for ET200S IM151 in HW config

Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	Hello, I have aET200S IM151 (6ES7151-1AA03-0AB0) andI have two AI-cards that I want to install, but I cant find them or put them in the IM151. The first is 2AI RTD (6ES7134-4JB51-0AB0). I cant find this one in HW config. In a manual that I have found it says "If you configure the 2/4AI RTD ST (6ES7134-4JB51-0AB0) as predecessor module (6ES7134-4JB50-0AB0), then it behaves as if it is compatible". Does this mean that I can set it as a 4JB50 in HW config instead? (that one I can find). Is my IM151 to old for the new card? The second is 2AI HF (6ES7134-4MB02-0AB0). This one I can find in the HW condig, but not under the IM151, så the fields does not turn green when I want to drag-and-drop it to the IM151. It says "Only modules can be inserted in this rack". The nearest card that I can find and does work with drag-and-drop is 6ES7134-4MB00-0AB0, but I have no idea if you can use this one instead. I cant find a manual för the 4MB02. Do you have any ideas and can help me?

Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	I have Step7 5.4 SP4. I really dont want to update the program at this moment... Do you think I should download tha latest HW update and then I will have them? I rally dont understand the updates (installing offline). The latest download says something about the 4MB02, but I thought I already have it since I can find it in the HW config but for the wrong module. Will the update also make this card avalible for my IM151? The other card, the 4JB51, is not mentioned in the "Support Package Viewer". Update your version if step7 (not because of this case) and then make update of hardware catalog. Or we can send you a hardware configuration with both modules inserted in order to try it in your computer. best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	I have tested it on another machine with V5.5+HF5 with the same bad result. If I search for my ET200S IM151 (6ES7151-1AA03-0AB0) I can find several of this model in the catalog tree under -DP V0 slaves-ET 200S. If I put one of the IM151 that I have in the tree (just for test) on the profibus line, I can insert my cards just the way I want. If I compare to the IM151 that I just inserted for test and the one I already have in my project I can see that the one who is not working says "GSD file (type file) SI02806A.GSE". Can this have something to do with my problem, and what can I do about it? I have testet to update the HW. Still cant find these cards, actually I cant find any of the ones I found earlier either, so now I cant update with any cards at all on my existent IM151. Maybe it has something with my GSD file was lost with the update?? (It's ok, I'm working on a VM ware copy).

Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	Some more info... My IM151 is under: PROFIBUS->Additional Field Devices->IO-E200S->IM151 The other IM151 that I'm not using but where I can find the cards is in: PROFIBUS->DP V0 slaves->ET 200S->IM151

Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	No that is not working. It seems that my IM151 with the exactsame model numberis not from that part of the "HW config tree". See the attachment picture. I think it has to doo with that my IM151 is from a GSD file? The question then is what can I do about that? In the next reply I attach a picture of how it looks when it works (but with wrong cards). Pontus Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	Here is how it looks like when i browse ~~PROFIBUS->DP V0 slaves->ET 200S->IM151.~~ Edit: Not sure where I got that fram but is should be PROFIBUS->Additional field devices->I/O->ET200S->ET 200S (IM151). This seems to be the IM151 that I have in my project or what do you think? From here I can insert ny cards, but not the ones I want and I guess thats because they are newer than my GSD file?
