Good day everyone!

May I please seek your assistance and expert advise on how to address my problem with our project.

The set-up is as follows:

We have an existing PLC System (See attached) which is working fine. Now, we need to add an Analog input module to get ampere readings from 8 sets conveyor drives (Will add more in the future). We use an ET200M Remote I/O Interface module and physically connect the 8-channel analog input module (6ES7331-7anKF02-0AB0). Then link the additional system to the existing PLC system via a SCALANCE X206-1LD Industrial Ethernet Switch. 

My question is how can I read data from the analog input module in this setup?

Any comments, advise and assistance will be greatly apreciated.

hi gado,

if your CP343-1 is already configured and the PN-IO-System too, you only have to configure your ET200M-station with the AI-Module in HW-config and access to the adresses that are parametrized to the AI-module. 

If there is no PN-IO-system you need to establish one first, by right-click on PN-IO create PROFINET-IO-system.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Anyway, we are able to to figure out how to read the data from the remote I/O using other option. We change the ET200 module with a Profibus DP and connect it directly to our CPU313C-2 DP which also have a Profibus DP. Now the system is already working.
