Hi,

I have made some project specific "User-defined roles", to use these roles in a faceplate, i have added an authorization type in the property interface. If i place the faceplate in a screen, and set the authorization property to one of my "User-defined role" it works fine.

But i want to make a faceplate into a popup, and then i dont know how to set the property interface to a "User-defined role".

Setting an interface textlist called "Status" in a faceplate called "Faceplate container_1" works with the following script:

Item("Faceplate container_1").Properties.Textlist = HMIRuntime.Resources.TextLists("@Default.Status");

So im looking for something like this to set the property interface called "authorization", to my user-defined role "Engineer":

I would like to use the OpenFaceplateInPopup function with the proberty "Authorization"?
I tested different codes but no one brings the solution:

INFO: Operator is a User defined role, I also tested it with the system defined roles but nothing works (like 'HMI Operator' or 'HMI Administrator' or something else).

When I use the faceplate in a screenwindow, I can choose an Authorization (for the property Interface "probAuthorization") and everything works as it should.

This is a perfect solution, however what if the faceplate itself is not on the screen as you want to open it as a pop up? The idea is that it is not the button that has the authorization, but the faceplate object itself.

You cannot assign the interface property of a faceplate that is not instantiated on a screen. Because you are opening it in a pop-up, there is no way to do this. 

Your example is perfect, but only when the faceplate has been dragged onto the screen, which is not what happens when you open it in a pop-up :(

Any ideas would be great! :)
