Hi

I have a PLC SIMATIC S7 1500 connected to a mobile pannel ktp700f.

At the push of a button I have to change connection with PLC.

For PLC SIMATIC S7 300/400 it was available the function "change connection", but it does not work with PLC SIMATIC S7 1500.

Is there anyone who knows an other way, compatible with CPU 1500, to change the IP Address in the connection?

the Systemfunction "ChangeConnection" does not work for S71500 PLC.

But It depends on your TIA Portal Image that you run  on the Mobile Panel.

There is no automatical way out of the HMI Runtime but you could use the function in the Panels Configuration Settings (in the newer TIA Portal Versions)

Service&commissioning-> IPConfig-> SetConnection

Here you could change the IP of an existing loaded connection.

I would also like the Way if the ChangeConnection Systemfunction also work with S71500 but I Suppose that Siemens won´t see this behaviour as a problem...

Perhaps if a lot of Users will needle their siemens contacts they will bring back the function...

Solution found.

Use the change connection function in a vb script of the HMI.

It works.
