Then Select the Block icon you wan to modify.Right Click on icon and create duplicate icon. Now righclick on duplicate icon select customized object & go to edit. After that you select particular object you want to change and right click on it. Go toconfigure dialog & extended Status display Window will POP UP. go to assign Pictures.where you have to give pictures according to your requirement. For more details Study How to Configure the Extended Status Display Topic available in WinCC Help Contents. Hope this helps.

Chetna You can edit the Block Icons. Open @PCS7Typicals.pdl , select the desired Bolock Icon and right click. Choose Coustomized Objects-> Edit, in that you will see an object Status Display showing some pic. You can modify that with the help of its properties. Once you finished editing, select all the Block Icons object , then right click -> Customized Objects -> Finish Editing. Once you do OS Project Editor all the Block Icons resets to by default Configuration How can you create your own block icons that will be incorporated

Yoga Shankar Posts: 288 Rating: (22)	Hello Nil96, A slight correction, The @@PCS7Typical must be saved as @PCS7Typical<Number>.pdl. When the Create/update block icons is run, the picture @PCS7Typical<Number>.pdl with the highest number is scanned first. Only if any block icon is not found in this file will the other @PCS7Typical<Number>.pdl files with lower numbers be scanned, in the decreasing order of the number. the @@PCS7Typical<Number>.pdl file is scanned last or only if no ther @PCS7Typical<Number>.pdl files are found.

minhajie Posts: 96 Rating: (10)	Hi Ctena, Hope you got your aswer. I would just like to add the final bits. You should be making a new block icon and not modify the exsisting. When you copy and paste or dupliacte the block icon then youshould give a proper name to this new object. This name you will alsoneed to define in the CFC so when you are doing the auto generation thesystem will generate your block icon. Normally I use a number for the names of my new block icons. Right clock on the block icon, properties then go to system and then typeand write the new name of the object e.g. @VlvMotL/8. Similarly in the CFC right click on the block then properties and then in the block icon box right 8. You can use process object view ifyou have to change too many block icons name in the cfc. I have a block icon made by someone in a project but the 'configuration dailog' of the pic is not active and some action is assigned on 'OnClick' property in events tab of Object Properties of the picture. Thanks Chetna Dear Chetna The pic you have given is already in Edit mode. The reason that is Dark Black is that it has been used by the Block Icon Property. Please refer to the above posted link for Creating Block Icons. First you close this Pdl without saving anything and then re-open it and then go for edit

What you need to do is right click on the block icon then select customized object and then Edit. After this you have to select the valve picture and then right click and then go to the configuration dialogue where you can change the valve pictures. Hope this was helpful. regards, mk
