     It seems you have not followed the correct syntax to access the pop-up object in a particular screen.

I read the document and changed my code a bit. I couldn't find the right syntax for a pop-up screen so I defined "active screen".

This compiles without errors. I have to check the actual function in the field though.

    I checked your script in RT Advanced simulation V14.0, at my end & it works, current screen's background color changes, & same can be applied for any other object of a screen.

   For reference, find the attachment for the VB Script & Runtime images.
