Thanks for your reply, Rated X! but I did not understand you clearly. Let me explain my situation. I made STEP7 project with ET200 pro controller IM 154-8 PN/DP. I made this plc asIntelligent DP SLave ( I-Slave ) in my project. thenConfigured input-output. Configured integrated web-site. Made own web-pages to configure some params and setpoints. Also I downloaded from siemens site it'sGSD-file. We will sell this PLC as OEM-solution. We will give to customer (or his system integrator) GSD file, so he can integrate our DP I-Slave in it's PROFIBUS NET and in factory process. They will use eg. Omron plc's to read from our PLC some data over PB DP net. Customer will buy, for example, 20 pcs. of our PLC. So we must give to end-user ability to change Address and BaudRate of PROFIBUS. Because of many pcs. in one PROFIBUS network. Where can I set PROFIBUS "auto detect of baudrate" in my et200pro cpu project .(see screen of my project hardware above). May be I can use some special SFCs to do that? And which manuals about profibus can I read? exampleof my test et200s DP master system in which I integrated my gsd-based et200pro

Thanks YurArm, for your detailed description. I checked the manual (I think you already have) http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/44251850 and found some hints in chapter 8.5.3. I hope this is what are looking for. It means before you connect your i-slave 154 to a DP-master of your customer you haveto do some configuration via PROFIBUS DP in commissioning mode. This includes the DP-slave address. General GSD-file you can download here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21221197 (I think you also know) This might include some configuration and parameterization info if you use a 3rd party master. Some ideas you can get from this document: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1452338 But you can not integrate the DP-address to the GSD-file. For Baudrate I thinkit is ok: The ASIC that handles the DP-interface will detect the baudrate automaticly. If you want to confirm simply start up you test configuration, disconnect IM154, change baudrate to your Master and connect your IM154 again. |
