Eric - thank you for publishing your first question at last. I recommend for you to use Paint.Net software program [LINK]. It is for free - so if you like it as much as I do, please consider making a donation. It will be easier to work with for you. What is great about the software is that you have the ability to use layers. So the bottom layer could be fpr example white.. then after you have finished designing the picture you hide the bottom layer and save as a PNG now with transparancy! You can also have Paint.Net open your picture by default. But for viewing I use the built in Windows viewer or Fast Stone Viewer. ..so install the Paint.Net and see if it works for you - ask if help needed further. Will this work for you? w |

Step 1 to 3 are already working, there is no need to edit Windows Register |
