I have a similar problem, but i cant figure it out.

I have changed the ID to 1, but i have still no response.

When analyze the communication with wireshark, i see that it puts the ID to 255.

Here is my config.

pls be kind tell us all informations about your sitaution, isn't good tell us only about same problem. pls give completelly what you want to do, what SW (SPs, Updates), what HW you have with your prj. Isn't ID as ID...

I'm trying to read from a modbus slave simulator (Modbus Pal) running in my computer.

I could see the request, but the simulator is not responding due to the ID of the modbus conection, MB_CLIENT sets this to 255 and i would be 1.

If i try the same thing from a Modbus Master simulator (qModbusMaster) i have the answer correctly.

Yeah, thats the problem!

I change it in the MB_CLIENT_DB and it works.
