ivan_euler Posts: 54 Rating: (0)	can anyone help me out, Im making a function for modifying variables for me to change the input bit adress and output adress to hmi directly without having to connect at CPU. im already try it using pointer and it works but when i try to make it a function it doesnt work..can anyone correct me if im wrong here is the code for BYTE L In1 // integer // to ACU1 SLD 3 T temp1 //integer LAR1 // for BIT L In4 // integer SLD 0 T Temp2 +AR1 TAR1 T OUT #1// integer

If i understood you correctly then you can makesomethinglike: L L#0 //clear ACCU - just in case L DW#16#81000000 // Area ID for inputs L #Byte_num //input variable SLD 3 OD L #Bit_num //input variable OD LAR1 A [AR1,P#0.0] = #output_bit // output variable. You can make similar things with output. Also you can read/write byte, word, dword in similar manner.

Ifyou include areaitwouldbe area-crossing (likemyexample) and would look like =[AR1,P#0.0]. PS.
