Changing screans on rising edge

AutoGen_1138517 Joined: 1/7/2025 Last visit: 3/29/2025 Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	HI, there I am making a project where i nead to open warning window when th user makes something wrong (like turning automatic mode on whil compresor is turned off). I wanted to make it trough pop-up windows but aperently KTP 400 Basic dosnt hawe an option for it. That is why i "created" pop-up windouws from making second screan and it shuld switch when curten bit changis its walue from 0 to 1. I found that in HMI tags you can edit events ( Value Changes) but there is mising an option for Falling/ or Rising edge. Is there any way how to anable it, or make it work trough PLC (taht screans wuld change only for rising adge? Sending also some screanshots of screans and tags how it looks (some thing are in Slovak becouse it is project to school. Using PLC 1215C, KTP 400 Basic and TIA portal 17

Following is for TIA 14, but should be the same for TIA 17: "Job mailbox" area pointer (Basic Panels, Panels, Comfort Panels, RT Advanced) Regards, Frink

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/28/2025 Posts: 15368 Rating: (1895)	Hello In this FAQ there are a few examples: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/93909293 Unfortunately Basic Panels cannot use VB Scripts, so you cannot check if the triggertag is 1 or 0 (so if its rising or falling edge). you could use an additional network in PLC and use the Screen number and an integer for calling the Screen. if the Screennumber in this tag changes you use at event screenchange the systemfunction ActivateScreenByNumber Bye Murof
