Changing the Update Cycle in graphic objects

amateur Posts: 145 Rating: (3)	In the customer's project all the objects, IO fields etc. has been configured in C script. The trigger cycle is "upon change". However, we want to change this cycle to "2s", but the the objects are too many and that would be a a long time consuming task. So, after searching throught the FAQS we have found this very useful link, which helped us a lot https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=23809757&caller=SR&caller=view The only problem is that, although we have tried to modified to adapt to our needsthis script can not change the trigger in the case that I have attached. So, the question is the following: How can we change the trigger cycle in these cases? Can you give us an example? I believe that this will be very efficient and helpful for many integrators. Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, Please post your adapted script here, so we can point you out the things that are wrong. Take in mind that you should search for your objects and not only IO-Fields. Therefore you could use For Each objHMIObject In ActiveDocument.HMIObjects Which will loop through all objects on the mimic. Also take in mind that your givin example is pointing to the property "OutputValue". You should use you used properties. Last but not least; I normally connect a UserValue instead of the uponchange, or 2 seconds interval. Benefit from this is that you can change it through the entire application through the computer/wincc properties with one go. note: You still can change the upon change to 2 seconds with one go aswell (but this is a bit confusing later on). amateur Posts: 145 Rating: (3)	Hi Ikkezelf, I tried many things, I also read the whole chapter in the VBA but I couldn't make it. I suppose that to the current project I have to change the trigger cycle manually. However, your insight about the UserValue was very helpful andwe willadapt it to our new projects. Best Regards
