Changing visible property of picture window with VBS

iwarmels Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hallo there, Within my project I made an extra picture window to print reports. My case is that I dump some data into a CSV-file that will be read out by the report. The situation: By pressing a button on a screen the data is dumped with VBScript. Within this VBScript I like to make the Print-report picturewindow visible. I've searched all over the Siemens site, FAQ's, Online Help and this forum, even broke into old wincc projects at the company over here, coudn't find a clue what so ever.... Do you have any idea's??? Thnx in advance! Ivo

So pictures displayed in PictureWindow objects containing more PictureWindow objects ? If you draw out your screen navigation you usually gethierarchical tree. syntax : <picturename>.<picturewindowname>:<picturename> ... EXAMPLE: So START.PDL is your start screen containing a PictureWindow object called BODY which displays MAIN.PDL. On MAIN.PDL you have two PictureWindow objects. One called BUTTON displaying BUTTON.PDL (containing your report button) and another called REPORT displaying REPORT.PDL (the picture you want to make visible). In this example you would need to fully reference the objects. e.g. HMIRuntime.Screens("START.BODY:MAIN").ScreenItems("REPORT").Visible = TRUE (I have not tested the above code but it hopefully explains the basic idea ! ) Salma We dance in a circle and suppose,while the secret sits in the middle and knows
