I am looking for  "wire break" diagnostic of inputs connected to a DI module, specifically 6ES7131-6BH01-0BA0

The module manual clearly states that the module is capable of doing such diagnostic in chapter 5.2.

However, in the manual there is no information about evaluating HW interrupts created by singular DI. On the other hand, manuals of HF DI modules have a specific chapter, where such information is available.

My question as follows, the "wire break" diagnostic for DI module 6ES7131-6BH01-0BA0 is referred to a cumulative "wire break" diagnostic of all DI channels present in the module, or there is a possibility to do a diagnosis for each channel separately?

 I found a system diagnostic FAQ https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/68011497   but there is no example of DI module's channel diagnosis.

The instruction GET_DIAG retrieves just diagnostic information about a module and it's submodules, so I was wondering if there is an instruction which is able to retrieve channel specific diagnosis?

● Parameter assignment error

● Supply voltage missing"

Hello 

Channel specific diagnostics is not possible with this module.

It's only possible with "HF" modules.

Look for "channel-specific diagnostics" in the description
