hello, please find the attach file , it is a sample tool offset program. please save this file in subprograms and call that sub program by m7 for this please use MD10715 = 7 and MD 10716="program name". please check attach file if any doubts contact me on meharcv@gmail.com

dear pee merci for you regarding i want just checking tool lenght and diameter between limits(upper and lower) before machining . Do you khow 840d controller has this option ? IF NOT i write subprogram but when i use in machining program ,machine has syntax fault .i dont know where is the problem ? for exp : m99(49,117,1) USE IN MACHINING PROGRAM MD10715[0]=99 MD10716[0]="CHECK_OFFSET.SPF" name of subprogram :CHECK_OFFSET.SPF by AttachmentCHECK_OFFSET.zip (205 Downloads) |

Hi I think that your issue is that you try to call a parametric subprogram trough a M function (which isn't possible). It would be easier if you simply rename it as Cyclexxx (see what number is available), put it in Custom Cycle directory or Machine Builder directory and call it with Cyclexxx(49,117,1).
