Hello elkacper; In case you would like to check the hardware and operating system requirements for WinCC Professiona v16, follow the following link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109771219 If you want to find similar information for earlier versions of WinCC Professional, use the search box at the right of this page, using WinCC Professional v1x as required, and filter by Product Note in the results page. The screenshot below shows the operating system requirements for WinCC Professional v16, extracted from the link above. Minimum hardware requirements are also available there. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello elkacper; Look at the description of available platforms for WinCC Professional in this document: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/99684510 To use your IPC as a HMI station, you need a WinCc Advanced or Professional license. Since you have a Professional license, you can develop your HMI/SCADA program either on the IPC or on your engineering PC, which ever has the WinCC Pro license installed. To run the HMI station, when you want to connect to your PLC, monitor and control the process, acquire and archive data... the IPC must have WinCC Professional Runtime license (same version as the WinCC Pro license in the IPC or engineering station). Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
