I use the WinCC professional v.11.I have a problem with Client/Server systems.

According to manual I fulfil following operations:

For server

1 createa project.

2. Add "WinCC RT Professional" to the HMI device.

3. Enter "WinCC Server" as the device name.

4. Configure the required screens, logs, tags, alarms, custom toolbars, project languages.

5.Configure runtime settings,operator authorizationsand etc.

For client

3.In the inspector window enter the physicalcomputer name of the HMI device and etc.

After that I perform download to device operation. The WinCC project is successfully installed on the computer under Window server 2008 R2 with Wincc Runtime. The project is located in /winccprojects directory.

From other computer I fulfil remote start of the project.

After authorisation the project is started, but in diagnostic window i have the message - no connection to wincc.

PMDiagnose.logcontains following messages:

How can i solve this problem? Are additionalDCOMcustomisation in system is required?

On the client computersimatic shell shows: Object - PC(server name), state - 2

On the server computersimatic shell shows: Object - PLC, state - 0; Object - Server, State - runtime

I use two computers in a local netwok (the same work group).

The first computer works under Windows Server 2008, the second - Windows 7.

The WinCC client/server project is started on thefirst computer in WinCC runtime. TheWinCC projecthas connection with simatic s7 300/400 by means of interface TCP/IP. It works well. OPC is not used. On the second computer i startWinCC project as client with help Simatic Shell.

User name and password on both computers are identical. User is included in groups:simatic hmi,administrators, simatic hmi viewer,sqlserver2005..user.

After the project start on the client machine i have "no wincc connection" in diagnostic window.

In the Simatic shell on theclient machine server has a state - 3.
