Clock Scan Bit in S7

CoolCat Regular Member Joined: 6/11/2007 Last visit: 1/25/2022 Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am using a S7 300 CPU 315-2DP processor. I need to toggle a bit so that it stays on for one scan and stays off for the next scan (similar to SM0.6 in S7 200). Any ideas? Cheers.

jklm Platinum Member Joined: 12/22/2006 Last visit: 1/25/2022 Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, Ifthe flagonly should toggel each cycle, choose a free flag (Fx.y in my example) and write this at the start of OB1: AN Fx.y = Fx.y You can now interrogate Fx.y at any place in the cyclic program. If you look for Flags toggeling on fixed frequencies (100msec, 200 msec, ...), you can activate the clock flag byte in HWConfig, in the CPU properties, in the TAB "Cycle/Clock Memory". Relaod the hardware configuration.

If yes. OB100 SET S m100.0 OB1 at the last line SET R m 100.0 The result at tread before is toogle EACH OB1-Cycle If it this, what you want ? 1st OB1-Cycle m100.0 is 1 2ndOB1-Cycle m100.0 is 0 3th OB1-Cyclem100.0 is 1 4 OB1-Cycle m100.0 is 0 5 OB1-Cycle m100.0 is 1 6 OB1-Cyclem100.0 is 0 and so on ? >(similar to SM0.6 in S7 200). I don't know the S7 200

I wanted the bit status to toggle on each scan of OB1 as mentioned in your second example... 1st OB1-Cycle m100.0 is 1 2nd OB1-Cycle m100.0 is 0 3rd OB1-Cycle m100.0 is 1 4th OB1-Cycle m100.0 is 0 5th OB1-Cycle m100.0 is 1 6th OB1-Cycle m100.0 is 0 and so on...
