is there any way to close/open brake on V90 controlled motor using s7-1200 /newest fw/ and telegram 3???.......I mean open/close uncondicionally,not with enable MC_power....in telegram 3 mapping there is tag named "OpenHoldingBrake" /STW1/.....but this bit has no effect in V90......

S7-1200 has MC_Postservo.

It is possible to override the bit of STW1 in MC_Postservo.

Yes...thanks..that I know....but even if I overwrote this bit in postservo,it had no effect......to be more precise,my question is if v90 supports this bit for open/close brake????..../or which v90 firmware support it???/

ps:I can see bit 12 changing state in V-assistant.....

this must run, when you use Tel. 105.

If not, please to factory setting on V90, and choose tel. 105 again.

all  10x telegramms support the connection of STW.Bit 12, to open holding brake.

With GSD it is possile to configure Tel. 102 for V90.

You can use Datablock and copy Tel. 3 to 102 or try to configure TO with Tel. 102 on S7-1200.

During "drive selection" try "Show all modules".

I didn't test it , yet.

telegram 3 evidently does not support bit 12.....telegram 102 shows bit12 in v-assistant tagged to

open/close brake but telegram 3 not.....

Your solution with data block connection could work,but I have no experience with this...is there any

demo project using data block connection communication??....

I have no space to experiment with this because machine is working already and v-assistant and tia

sometimes behave very strange .....

you have to copy statusword and encodervalue from Tel 102 to Tel 3 in MC_Preservo and control word and setpoint from Tel 3 to Tel 102 in MC_Postservo. It is not necessary to provide the additional words of Tel.102.

For Tel.3 you have to do a datablock like described in chapter 4.2.3 Datablock "EncoderTel81"

Instead of PD_Tel81  use Data type PD_Tel3.

First...data type PD_TEL102 is not supported in s7-1200 so it will not create tags in tag table,but of course I can map I/Q by hands....

Second...Both Drive and Encoder have to be connected to the same datablock???

               V90 has to be configured with telegram 102 in tia portal /and v-assistant/?

               will supplementary t. 750 work with this config?

yes, Tel3 includes drive and encoder.

Tel 750 is possible , but S71200 TO doesn't support it.

So you have to do it applicative.

The default in Tel. 750 = 0%, so the limits in the V90 will be 0%. 

I would recommend S7-1500.

With S7-1200 V90 with Basic Positioner and FB 284 is an option.
