Hi ,

         I am using CM PtP for the Modbus communication, My slaves having no provision to set the parity to Even/Odd so so due to this I did set parity none to all other nodes too.

My problem is that when I set the parity = W#16#0001 in Modbus_Comm_Load it is not able to fetch the data from Slaves.

For the trial purpose I configured one of the  Modbus simulator as a slave and I monitored the queries, Slave received the queries and also transmitting the data but Master not able to fetch data which is strange for me.

Can anybody help on this topic,

MB_Master reports w#16#7002 error code but in Receive block it's W#16#0097

But if I am changing the parity to Even on both the side then it's Working, but I do have limitation for some slaves where Parity should be only none.

 I think you should share some screenshots of your blocks and configuration. If you are using some of the example programs, then you might have missed to configure something.

    Thanks for the reply, but as I stated before that it is reporting error code 7002.which is not helping me to find out the exact details.

my settings for COM Load is as following do you think any changes please suggest me 

Baudrate = 19200

Parity = none

flow control = none

databits = 8

stopbit = 1

7002 is a status message which is reported with ERROR=FALSE. You need to know STATUS when ERROR=TRUE.

        The error code is 81E2 which is a receive error due to incorrect frame, but its strange the frame is correct , but can you help me to find two things Start bit and Databits where it is located I tried inside Mobus comm load but I didn't get any thing there.

One more thing what is the value need to be set for parity none whether its 1 as of the document or 0.
