CM1241(RS232) incorrect data

mhmmdokur Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am using S71200 1214C and CM1241 rs232 module. I use RS232 usb ttl to test the communication module. But the data I send from plc is always wrong. I couldn't fix what I did. I tried all baudrate speeds, but the result didn't change. Also, I can't send data to PLC. There is no problem with the USB adapter. I tried with another rs232 usb ttl did not change the result. As a result, I can't send any data to the PLC and read the data from the PLC incorrectly. For example, I'm sending "AA" as hexadecimal but the incoming data is "15". I don't know where the problem is. I would be glad if you help. Attachment SİEMENS.jpg (119 Downloads)

And there are several things you should also adapt in your program: evaluate the output of SEND_PTP and RCV_PTP in your program to get error information. How do you evaluate the status of system blocks in STEP 7 (TIA Portal)? You should call RECV_PTP unconditionllay, never with a clock. You should should trigger SEND_PTP depending on the outputs, not with a clock. Regards, Kaulquappe

mhmmdokur Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, SEND_Buffer is not defined as a string. SEND_Buffer is defined Byte. (I also tried char array and byte array). I tried the transactions you mentioned, but no changes. Data is still coming incorrect. For example, I'm sending "01" as hexadecimal from PLC but the incoming data is "7F" I'm sending "02" as hexadecimal from PLC but the incoming data is "3F" I'm sending "03" as hexadecimal from PLC but the incoming data is "7E" Attachment Ekran Alıntısı.JPG (94 Downloads)
