CM1243-2 AS-i communication with RFID DTA200

daniel.pyc Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello All! I'm trying to establish acyclic communication between Siemens with AS-i master CM1243-2 and RFID head ifm DTA200. When I use (according to manual) RDREC FB with parameters (ID String - index 30) like on screen it's giving me only one value (it's 2). When I use other PLC (AC1402) I have no problem with receiving proper data. When I use index 24 - read extended ID1 I can read value proper. Could anyone help me with this topis?

How many ASi slaves are connected to the ASi master? Which TIA Portal version do you use? Do you use latest V14 SP1 with Update3? Updates for STEP 7 V14 SP1 and WinCC V14 SP1 With "PLC (AC1402)" you mean an 'AS-Interface PROFINET-Gateway' by IFM, or? --> https://www.ifm.com/at/de/product/AC1402 Have you compared the ASi communication between the IFM ASi Master and the Siemens CM1243-2 ASi Master with e.g. an AS-i Analyzer / AS-i trace tool? If yes, could you maybe see an difference regarding the handling of the command "Read ID string"? kind regards LostMyMind
