LaraCroft Posts: 60 Rating: (2)	Hi, I get a error message when I try to open the Simatic Step7"Hardware" of a existing S7-316 PLC: Open(257:5) One or more objets or a type cannot be represented. Server 'p7hk8k4x.dll' for _S7H_6AT_1735_0AA1_0AA0_CT objects could not be loaded. Make sure the required software packages are installed. This is a existing application that used a CM35-0AA01 Counter module (6AT 1735-0AA01-0AA0). I have found the software package with this ID: 17254096 with file: "CM35_STEP7_V51_52.EXE". Once instlled, I still have the error message. I notice, that the CM35 setup program have created "C:\Program files\Siemens\Step7\CM35", with "DeIsL1.isu" and "Uninstal.log" files inside. Please help meon resolving that problem. I am using Step7 V5.3+SP3 and I need to read the Hardware with the existing CM35 Counter module! Regards TonyMozarella

Tried to install older software package as well, CM35_STEP7_V50, but that wont work with WinXP. Best regards Anders

Hans D Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear Tony, I ran into exactly the same problem the other day and it is a bit irritating as I can not supply a proper back-up of the HW config to the customer. I also find it strange that the CM-35 module is available in the module list but it will not allow me to drag and drop the module into a rack. Did you find any way to work around this problem? (I am running V5.4 SP4.) Thankful for any hints! Kind Regards Hans

Guru No1 Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	Hi All To correct this problem install the attahed DLL files into C:\Program Files\Siemens\Step7\S7BIN direrctory, reboot PG then re-try reopening Project. Attachment DLL.zip (406 Downloads)
