I have been asked to create a program for an Sinumerik system(840d). The basic software is no problem (in Cpp). My problem is I must get the X and Y positions and the current speed and modify the CNC code and give it back to the Machine. I have read here that it is possible to get the online information from the OPC interface. But I dont think this will me with the getting and giving back the CNC program. I have read about OPI software to modify the CNC kernel. Is this a possible solution. Or is the answer someplace else? |
