Hello,

I have a new code reader Datalogic Matrix 300N™ (Profinet-IO communication embedded) and I unsuccessfully trying to connect to this device in TIA Portal V13 SP1.

1) First I downloaded GSDML file and I installed it.

2) I added my device Matrix 300N from HW catalog to HW configuration. In network view I connected this device to CPU. I have set a IP address and profinet name. All I dowload to PLC.

After download, PLC goes to STOP witch errors (blinking red)... 

I see my device in Distributed I/O same as et 200sp or CU320 units, my reader device is "not reachable". 

In Online&Diagnostics i can't see nothing. No MAC address, no chance to change name or IP adress ... "not reachable"

Could anybody to help me, please?

In manual is writing, device have three ways of communication. Protocols: EtherNet/IP (explicit messaging), PROFINET I/O and Modbus TCP protocols

I think is necessary set PROFINET communication by DL.CODE (datalogic software).

I explored whole Datalogic software. No way to change communication protocol.

Only I tried to changed in Cluster Network Settings from "Standalone" to "Slave". Unsuccessfuly.

I think Standalone mode is OK.

What IP address and mask have PLC and what IP and mask have Reader? (Manual say default is 192.168.3.100.)

Can you ping Reader from PC?

Hello

I have the same code readerDatalogicMatrix 300N™(Profinet-IO communication embedded)and I unsuccessfully trying to connect to this device in TIA Portal V14. I can see matrix unit when i search for devices in tia portal and i can rename it so the profinet name should be ok. But my plc s7-1211C V4 keeps on blinking red and can find the HWIO.

Im not sure maybe i have the wrong gds file downloaded or does anyone have a working sample program i could try? Also im not sure wich hardware version i should be running on the Matrix 300N?
