- The desired application : Collect data from ABB VFD Driver to Siemens PLC

Hi, I would like to read data from ABB VFD such as current, voltage, running hour and power consumption.

1. I have read a few stuff online (ABB website, gsd files, block FB500 as attached: https://library.e.abb.com/public/8e4a4a75677e4b04a828059e684a672a/ABB_Drives_function_blocks_for_Siemens_PLCs_Quick_start-up_guide_A_A4.pdf ) but its normally controlling the VFD. What if i want to collect data from the VFD? 

2. I dont really understand the theory of telegram, control and status word. From what i learnt, Control word (Output to VFD) are output to VFD, speed control; while status word and process data (Input from VFD) got what difference? Do i need to use the ABB FB500 block or just read the parameter of hex address from the VFD. Correct if i am wrong.

- Expected causes of the Problem : Able to collect data from ABB VFD
