Dangero Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	HI all WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THE COM DB1, what is the parameter of the 115U-943 7UB11 secondly i am facing a problem with my S5 - 115U PLC i can make the plc online and offline and switch it to run and stop from COM DB1 but from project-->set i cant make the plc online " link not established" how this could happen!!!

gcor Advanced Member Joined: 7/17/2008 Last visit: 10/25/2013 Posts: 34 Rating: (2)	Dangero, The COM DB1 is "a kind of" hardware configuration tool for the central CPU I never used that adapter, but as far as I know the COM DB1 used the same channel /driver than Step5, what's more, I suppose that you are launching COM DB1 from Step5, are you? Regards

Only two silly remarks, just in case COM DB1 must to be closed when you attempt to communicate with Step5 Check if you installed the las hotfix (almost 5 years old!!) Regards
