Hello everyone,

in recent history i made a vb-script for checking different size's of an SD-Card or USB-Device connected to a comfort panel to check whether there is enough free space left.

The script i wrote is working fine when i make use of the "Simulation" option in TIA V13 on my Field PG running Windows 7 x64 because the commands used in the script correspond to the functions allowed in Windows 7. 

However, i tried using the script on a TP2200 comfort panel for a customer on which we need to log some information. Obviously i can't use the same syntax because the run time on the comfort panels runs on Windows CE 6.

What i am looking for now is the right syntax in my script. I've looked all around the forum and i can see somewhat similar question's but the few answers given aren't useful for Windows CE unfortunately.

If it isn't possible i'd like to know as well. No is an answer too of course, at least i can stop looking around then.

The "CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") isn't a viable solution for Windows CE

- Which Panel or Panel PC or PC (Version of Operating System)do you use?

Comfort Panel TP2200 in this case

- Look in the Properties of the Panel or Runtime, Which Version do you use in the Project?

Don't have access to the panel at the moment

- Create a clear Screenshot of the Problem if its Possible, because a Picture tells you more than 1000 Words

Hey Cumulus,

i've seen something similar in my own search. The option provided in the Toolbox use's the CMD of windows CE to create a txt file from which a vb-script reads the entries.

Doing it this way isn't really a good option, also the storage size isn't continually monitored and the CMD window comes to the foreground of the runtime.

Any other option to try out..?
