Coming to Unified - How to pipes?

Hi all. 

I'm moving to Unified and since my HMI interfaces make the use of lots of pipes to represent the flow of product I was wondering where the old pipe Basic Object went. It was easy to click around and draw the paths, but now it seems that pipes are "Dynamic Widgets" and, really, just a bunch of normal objects that you have to resize and fit to each other making you spend tons of time doing even basic layouts (let alone some complicated layouts I need to do).

Is there a way to have old pipes back? Am I doing something wrong? 

Sorry if it is a basic question, I'm in the very first hours on Unified and learning the differences. 

The one in Graphics and the one in Dynamic Widgets are very similar and a substantial downgrade from earlier versions. I can't draw pipes anymore, I have to connect a ton of pipe graphics that are now each their object and need their own scripts. 

I guess I can see why some people feel like Unified is a straight downgrade from professional.
