Comm. between two project

LEDT Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	If there's an existing system s7-300 using Step 7 Professional 2010, and I am working on an new project (Using s7-1500) that requires reading an real number from the existing s7-300 connected on the same ethernet network, is it possible to to grab that that data point without touching the existing system? I tried using the GET function for unspecified connection with the IP connection and it didnt' work. Does anyone have any advice to get around this? Thanks
