Hi I'm commissioning a small machine, about 35 axis, using some software that is well tested and is running well on several other lines, on both PLC and Simotion side.

Now i'm working first time TIA 14SP1 and Scout 5.1,  previously we ran 13SP1/ Scout 4.4.0.11

It happens that after a few automatic cycles without issues some servos freezes and gives error

30002: Command aborted (Reason: 31, command type: 1201)

Reason 31: Maximum number of active commands exceeded

I tried a technology object trace but everything seems ok to me: after 10/20 _pos commands executed, at some point one get buffered with return code 48. After after it keeps giving 30002:31

I couldn't find much documentation about this error condition and and once again i never had this problem in the past, running code that is 99% the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I do not understand why you should precharge in the motion so many many move commands...

When you launch your code you already know that you will need to make 48 movements ? I guess, at least, they are different , because if they are all equal you just need to loop one of them.

Anyway just reduce the number of buffered commands in order to avoid this. When you reach a certain number, you wait that some of them are ended, before flooding the buffer again...

Hi actually I don't think I'm buffering any command, or at least, my code shouldn't be supposed to do so.

Unless I have some typo luring somewhere 99% of this code runs perfectly on several 100+ Axis machines.

Technology object trace looks perfectly ok, I can post a log tomorrow.

How could I diagnose the exact source of the problem? I'm a bit lost on this.
