Command "HTMLBrowserRefresh" from a VB script

It´s posible use the command "HTMLBrowserRefresh" from a VB script?

which Runtime do you use? (WinCC Advanced/Professional/Paneltype?)

Maybe you could use something like this?

Set obj = HmiRuntime.Screens("Screen_1").ScreenItems("HTML browser_1")
obj.Activate

The System funktion "HTMLBrowserRefresh" is a Key operation for Screen Items.

Its made for using your own Buttons to remote the Functions of a Control in Runtime in the open Screen

So you can ony remote teh Buttons in the Control.

You cannot use this function in VB Script.

But you can open the current screen again.

So use the Funcitoin ActivateScreen to open the same screen again and then the THML Browser Control will be loaded new.

I had the same problem, trying to refresh a web page in an HTML browser object using a tag triggered VB script in TIA WinCC Advanced V13 SP1.

H.J.'s suggestion to use obj.Activate does not work in TIA portal WinCC.

Murof's tip to use ActivateScreen works, but has the sideeffect that it refreshes the entire screen.

I found out that the easiest and best way to refresh the web page is to set the .Address property of the HTML browser object to its present value.

Example:

Dim oBrowser
Set oBrowser = HmiRuntime.Screens("Screen_1").ScreenItems("HTML browser_1")
oBrowser.Address = oBrowser.Address
