Comment column width and other questions...

In STL code view we have code column, address column and tag comments column. So I'm unable so save width of that tag comment column. It's too thin for me so I move it with mouse and make it wider, then I push button 'save window settings', but once I close and reopen particular FC or FB my column width return to initial width. It drives me crazy. All other columns are ok. Does anyone has the same issue ? 2. Back in Step-7 time we had project archive/retrieve function which is gone in TIA V11. So is the any way to have backup of a project instead of doing it with windows integrated zip archiver ? Sorry if answers to those questions are available somewhere. Honestly I just used search function in PDF to search TIA V11 manual, but nothing found.

You can only do a 'save as' on your project but then you have two times the same project size on your disc - so archiving might be more efficient

You can and should back up your project, maybe to usb disk/drive or network drive or all of them! I think it would be great if the portal came with revision and source control as an option. However, for now, it is 100% manual. As to the column width question.. I agree, the column widths are not sticky. However, they do sort of auto-size. Try sticking a really long comment into the first comment location and see if it grows. Once you get a 'nice' column width comment, you can put it in that same place in all your comments. Maybe '--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- works? :)

Where did you find that option ? I'm not successful doing this. huggy_d1 As to the column width question.. I agree, the column widths are not sticky. I've contacted support about that. They admitted that this is a problem and are working on that.
