Comminucation between SIMOTION and WinCC not happening

Raviap Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I am facing problem in communication with SIMOTION C240 from WInCC 7.0 SP2. WinCC screens showing # instead of numbers and project is not responding. SIMOTION C240 connected via Industrial Ethernet to WinCC 7.0 Sp2. Simatic Net OPC server is also used. All Experts-- I have reinstalled Windows and WinCC but I am not sure of configuration steps as this is a repair machine with no docs. Please help in setting up communication. Thanking you.

Is creating a SIMATIC PC station required if communication between SIMOTION PLC and HMI PC is through Industrial Ethernet ( BroadComm NIC ) ? OR configuring OPC server and exporting OPC symbols is enough? Thanks in advance.
