Dear cnc***, have a look at the Safety Integrated Function Manual (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109763292), chapter 6.6. With the parameter p9580 you can delay the reaction of the drive in case of communication loss. Useful for performing ESR. Another possibility is described in chapter 5.3.3. With the parameter p9612 you can set the reaction in case of communication loss. Default is STOP A (STO), thats the reason for your dropping hoist. You can change it to STOP B (SS1). If you chose this option, make sure that p9658 is greater than the SS1 delay time. |

Dear cnc***, p9612 is bound to the control via PROFIsafe, not to any license. For the CU310-2 (with Starter), the parameter has to be changed in the expert list as it is not visible in the Safety configuration masks. How to do so is described in the Safety Manual for S120 (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109763292), chapter 6.8.2.2. |
